A beautiful warm sunny day with a gentle breeze greeted the sailors for the 2 race Saturday Racers Trophy. The start of the first race was delayed 30 minutes, till 12:30, to allow both the instructors and some participants of the morning RYA Training and Coaching sessions to join in. The first race which Mike Saunders and Richard Mitchell won rather convincingly, was followed by lunch, where there were the usual tales of If only... The Broxbourne lake was yet again tested sailing skills with unpredictable gusts and lulls couple with huge wind shifts, resulting in some hardy folk testing the warmth of the water. The second race saw Paul Rollo and Dave Smith up their game to take top spot, but Mike and Richard held on to take 2nd and the overall trophy.
